EB is a rare genetic skin disorder. It stands for Epidermolysis Bullosa in which the skin blisters and detaches from the body with the slightest friction. EB usually shows right at birth and causes extreme pain and disfigurements as the child grows. Their life expectancy can be shortened and the medical expenses can exceed $12,000 a month.
